Ready to Transform Your Space?

Wall-Mount PIR Presence Control with IRIS S12W

IRIS S12W is a wall-mounted PIR presence sensor designed for automatic lighting control in everyday indoor spaces. Fixed neatly on walls or vertical surfaces, it detects human movement across its field of view and turns lights ON when people enter—then switches them OFF after the set delay. Ideal for corridors, staircases, entrances and lobbies, it helps keep circulation areas safely lit while cutting unnecessary energy use.

How It Works

Discover the simple yet effective way NANO 16 transforms your space

1

Microwave Emission

Emits 5.8GHz microwaves with <0.2mW power, ensuring precise detection.

2

Motion Detection

Detects movement (0.6–1.5m/s) within 360° range, adjustable 2–16m.

3

Smart Response

Activates lights (≤800W incandescent / 300W LED) with 10s–12min delay.

A microwave motion sensor works by emitting high-frequency waves and detecting changes in the reflected signal. When motion occurs within the microwave sensor range, the reflection shifts, triggering a response. Unlike passive sensors, microwave sensors actively scan their surroundings, making them ideal for detecting subtle movement, even through walls or glass.

Parking Areas

Reliable emergency lighting for underground and multi-level parking facilities, ensuring safety in low-light conditions.

Smart Functionality

Experience responsive, presence-based lighting with IRIS S12W’s wall-mounted PIR sensing and adjustable time and daylight settings.

Daylight Function

In Daylight mode, IRIS S12W only turns lights ON when two conditions are met: motion is detected and the ambient light level is below the chosen lux threshold. This avoids unnecessary switching in naturally bright areas such as window-side corridors, stair landings near windows or entrance lobbies with good daylight

lux setting-Motion Sensor

Sufficient daylight

When the space is already bright, the sensor keeps the light OFF even if it detects movement, preventing wasted energy.

lux setting night-Motion Sensor

Low daylight with motion

When the area becomes dim and IRIS S12W detects movement, it switches the lights ON automatically for safe, comfortable visibility.

Detection-Motion Sensor

After people leave

Once motion stops, the light remains ON for the selected hold time and then turns OFF automatically, ready for the next occupancy event.

No Daylight Function

In No Daylight mode, IRIS S12W ignores ambient light and operates purely on presence detection. This mode is ideal for enclosed or consistently dim areas such as internal corridors, staircases without windows and back passages where lights must always respond whenever someone passes by.

motion detection_sensionva

Motion detected

As soon as a person enters the detection area in front of the wall-mounted sensor, IRIS S12W responds to body heat and switches the lights ON to full brightness.

motion detection_sensionva

Area still occupied

As long as movement continues in its field of view, IRIS S12W keeps the lights ON, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Detection-Motion Sensor

No motion detected

After the last detected movement and once the configured hold time expires, the lights switch OFF automatically to save energy.

🌓

Knows Sun from Moon

IRIS S12W includes an adjustable daylight (lux) threshold so you can decide at what brightness level the sensor should start responding. Lights only come ON when the natural light is insufficient, keeping wall-mounted corridor and staircase lighting truly demand-based.

🎚️

Dial-in Distance

Fine-tune the detection area to match each wall-mounted position. IRIS S12W offers sensitivity adjustment so it can focus on the intended section of the corridor, staircase or entrance and reduce false triggers from adjacent areas or through open doors.

⏱️

Stays On When Busy

Every new movement detected by IRIS S12W resets the internal timer. Lights remain ON continuously while people are walking through the corridor, using the stairs or moving in and out of entrances, preventing sudden switch-offs during continuous activity.

You Set the Timeout

Choose how long the lights stay ON after the last motion—from short delays for narrow passages to longer timings for busy lobbies or staircase zones. This lets you align sensor behaviour with how each area is actually used.
