Adjust the sensor's detection range from 2m to 16m by turning the reach knob. Turn it fully left for minimum range and fully right for maximum. Set based on location needs.
Choose how long the light stays ON (10 seconds to 12 minutes). Movement restarts the timer. Use the shortest time during setup and walk test for accurate adjustment.
Set light sensitivity from 2 to 2000 lux. Fully left = night-only mode (2 lux), fully right = day mode. Turn fully right during testing in daylight, then adjust per requirement.

In Daylight mode, IRIS S12W only turns lights ON when two conditions are met: motion is detected and the ambient light level is below the chosen lux threshold. This avoids unnecessary switching in naturally bright areas such as window-side corridors, stair landings near windows or entrance lobbies with good daylight
When the space is already bright, the sensor keeps the light OFF even if it detects movement, preventing wasted energy.
When the area becomes dim and IRIS S12W detects movement, it switches the lights ON automatically for safe, comfortable visibility.
Once motion stops, the light remains ON for the selected hold time and then turns OFF automatically, ready for the next occupancy event.
In No Daylight mode, IRIS S12W ignores ambient light and operates purely on presence detection. This mode is ideal for enclosed or consistently dim areas such as internal corridors, staircases without windows and back passages where lights must always respond whenever someone passes by.
As soon as a person enters the detection area in front of the wall-mounted sensor, IRIS S12W responds to body heat and switches the lights ON to full brightness.
