In Daylight mode, Nova Mini only turns lights ON when both conditions are met: motion is detected and the ambient light level is below the set lux threshold. This prevents lights from switching on unnecessarily in naturally bright spaces such as corridors with windows or small rooms that receive daylight.
When there is enough natural light, the sensor keeps the light OFF even if motion is detected.
When the ambient light falls below the set level and the sensor detects movement, the light switches ON automatically.
Once motion stops, the light remains ON for the selected hold time and then switches OFF automatically.
In No Daylight mode, Nova Mini ignores the ambient light level and responds purely to motion. This mode is ideal for fully enclosed or consistently dim areas such as internal washrooms, passages and house parking zones where lights should always come on whenever movement is detected.
